Cushing is the place to be, all year long!

Fall and winter months provide ample opportunities for attending high school athletic events, plays and musicals, Festival in the Park, Christmas Parade and other holiday activities.

Summer recreation abounds with boating and fishing on Keystone Lake just 25 minutes away.  Swimming is a popular and fun event at the Cushing Aquatic Center.  In August you can attend the Payne County Fair in Stillwater where there is livestock judging as well as a talent show.  There are t-ball, baseball, softball and soccer leagues for kids and teens and a plush private golf course, Cushing Country Club, just waiting for you.  There are Independence Day Fireworks and the Annual BBQ ‘N Blues Festival in June.

If you are a college football, basketball or baseball fanatic, the campus of Oklahoma State University is only thirty miles away.  The campus of the University of Oklahoma in only an hour and one-half away.

For larger amenities, you are only one hour away from Tulsa and one and one-half hour from Oklahoma City where world class museums such as the Gilcrease Museum, Oklahoma Aquarium and the Cowboy/Western Hall of Fame.
