GOAL To provide information, guidance, challenge, and honor to future community leaders through a leadership program directed toward students of Cushing High School that includes Cushing site visits and dynamic speakers. OBJECTIVES - Conduct an intensive leadership program for High School Juniors who have leadership aptitude helping them develop their leadership qualities through a series of issue oriented forums based on the perspective that knowledge is a key element and prime motivator of leadership.
- Acquaint those future leaders with community needs, problems, and opportunities.
- Provide opportunities for interaction with existing leaders on community issues.
- Build an understanding of the nature of community leadership and challenge participants to community involvement and decision-making.
